Overview
An interesting journey awaits you in one of the oldest inhabited regions of Armenia, Aragatsotn Region. During the tour, you will be in two medieval monastic complexes built directly on the edge of the Kasakh river gorge, we will admire not only the wonderful views of the valley but also the wonderful architecture of the monasteries built in harmony with nature, we will be in the park of the Armenian alphabet, then we will move in the direction of the highest mountain in Armenia, Aragats, on one of the slopes of which is built Amberd, one of the famous defensive fortresses of medieval Armenia. On the way, we will get to know the lifestyle of Yezidis, one of the ethnic minorities living in Armenia, who live in mountain pastures with their domestic animals from early spring to deep autumn, and we will finish the tour at the southern peak of Aragats Mountain, about 3200m above sea level near Kari Lake, which is located at a height, where the snow cover is still preserved even in June-July. Of course, the road is full of wonderful and adrenaline-inducing scenes that will leave unforgettable impressions on you.
