Overview
The first stop of the trip will be the city of Tsaghkadzor. It is one of the resort cities of the Republic of Armenia, especially in the winter months, a large flow of tourists is observed here, who come to spend their rest and use the wide and modern services provided by mountain skiing sports. Well, in the summer season, Tsaghkadzor with its rich nature is an ideal place for protection from city noise and heat. In Tsaghkadzor is located the Kecharis monastery complex built in the 11th-13th centuries by the head of the Kotayk Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as the house-museum of the Orbeli brothers .
The next stop is the Sevan Peninsula, from the height of which you can admire the incomparable beauty of the blue Sevan Lake, which is considered the second-highest freshwater lake in the world, and with the cozy architecture of St. Hovhannes Mkrtich(Baptist) and St. Arakelots churches, built in the 9th century.
At the end of the tour, if there are favorable weather conditions, you can swim in the frigid waters of Lake Sevan or sail on motorboats.
